The "Les Artisans Lao" project has been created in order to support the professional and social insertion of disadvantaged and often marginalized people in Lao PDR. Its other objective is to promote the apprenticeship of traditional handicraft skills and the emergence of handicrafts with contemporary and original designs and 100% made in Laos. "Les Artisans Lao" also aims at raising the youth's and villagers' awareness to recycling and the ecological use of raw materials since all materials used in the centre are either naturally abundant or recycled ones and in both cases, from Laos only.

Each donation will be used for machinery, equipments, building purposes and expert technical assistance. Each donator will be kept informed through a yearly information letter describing the progress of the center. Volunteers are most welcome (marketing, packaging, chemist or any other good advice).. Money can only be sent through a foundation or association from the United States.
